Interested in Joining the Program?

 

Project Sail operates the Green Lantern as a Sea Scout Ship 272. This program is a coed peer leadership experience. Sail training on the water is the ideal place to build communication, leadership and teamwork skills. We are always looking for adult and student leaders. If you’re interested, we would love to have you join our team.

 

 

Youth ages 12-21 may enroll into the program with parental consent. You may download the application from the Web at: www.scouting.org/filestore/pdf/28-406.pdf Print and fill out the application, the fee of $22 can be paid by a check made payable to Boy Scouts of America, GNYC, Inc. All adult volunteers go through a background check with the Boy Scouts of America.

Enclose a cover letter with a description of your professional and life experiences and provide two character references (past employers, teaching staff) Each reference should have a phone number, email address and mailing address.
